VIP will be using 5G's WiFi networking equipment to serve the existing Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese community in Westminster, as well as to provide training experience for international staffers in preparation for the deployment of wireless infrastructures it plans for parts of Southeast Asia. Located in the "Little Saigon" area of the City of Westminster are five banks, six major shopping centers, and hundreds of shops, restaurants, and professional offices in what is considered the largest Vietnamese business enclave outside of Vietnam. The area is quickly becoming a major tourist destination for overseas visitors following a stop at nearby Southern California attractions like Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland.
