(OTCBB:FGWC - News), announced today that Franklin University (http://www.franklin.edu/) in Columbus, Ohio, has chosen its new C-WAN(TM) (Campus-Wide Area Network) equipment package to provide wireless broadband coverage throughout selected outdoor public spaces.

The purchase was arranged and will be implemented through Springnet CC (http://www.springnet.cc/), a Dayton, Ohio-based WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider), one of 5G Wireless' selected Authorized Channel Partners.

5G will provide rooftop Wi-Fi base station units to create a Wi-Fi HotZone(TM) throughout some of the most popular areas of the 14-acre campus. The installation is expected to expand over the months ahead, with more and more area, both outside and in, being added to the network. 5G equipment was selected over competitive offerings based upon its lower overall TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) profile. Fewer base station units are required, both indoors and out, to deliver superior coverage, thus reducing both upfront capital equipment expenses and ongoing operating costs associated with network administration and maintenance.

Franklin is central Ohio's leading educator of working professionals, serving nearly 10,000 students. The university is one of the more technologically advanced in the nation and was chosen by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in a pilot program allowing unlimited distance education students to be eligible for financial aid.
